CZoneConnect Privacy Policy

CZoneConnect is a business messaging platform operated by ZONE STAR WEB DESIGN LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"). Businesses ("Customers") use CZoneConnect to manage conversations, contacts, message templates and campaigns on their own WhatsApp Business accounts through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. This policy explains what data we handle and why.

1. Data we collect from Customers
• Account details: name, business name, email, phone number and login information of the people who use CZoneConnect.
• Billing details: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Connection details: identifiers and access tokens for the Customer's WhatsApp Business Account and phone numbers, provided when the Customer connects through Meta's Embedded Signup. Tokens are encrypted.
• Usage and technical data: log-in times, actions in the app, IP address, browser type and error logs, used to run and secure the service.

2. Data we process on behalf of Customers
When a Customer uses CZoneConnect, we process the following for that Customer, under the Customer's instructions:
• Messages, media and message status information sent and received on the Customer's WhatsApp Business number.
• Contact details of the Customer's own customers, such as name, phone number, WhatsApp user identifier, tags, notes and custom fields.
• Consent and opt-out records, including when and how a person agreed to receive messages.
• Message templates and campaign results.
• If the Customer connects an online store (Shopify or WooCommerce): order number, status, total and the contact details needed to send order updates.
For this data, the Customer is responsible for having a lawful basis and the required consent, and we act as a service provider (processor) to the Customer.

3. How we use data
We use data only to provide CZoneConnect: to deliver and display messages, run the automations and campaigns the Customer sets up, keep the service secure, provide support, bill the subscription and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use Customer message content for advertising.

4. Meta and the WhatsApp Business Platform
Messages are sent and received through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which processes them under Meta's own terms and policies. Each Customer holds its own WhatsApp Business Account and pays Meta directly for WhatsApp messaging charges. CZoneConnect does not resell or pay Meta messaging charges on a Customer's behalf.

5. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run CZoneConnect, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, error monitoring and payment processing, and with Meta as required to send and receive WhatsApp messages. Each provider may use the data only to provide its service to us. We may disclose data where required by law.

6. How long we keep data
• Customer account and workspace data: while the subscription is active.
• After a Customer cancels and deletes its workspace: all workspace data, including messages and media, is permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Technical webhook logs: up to 30 days.
• Backups: up to 14 days, then overwritten.
• Invoices: as long as UAE law requires for tax records.

7. Security
Access tokens and secrets are encrypted. Each Customer's data is kept separate from other Customers. Our staff cannot view a Customer's message content unless the Customer grants time-limited support access, and every such access is logged.

8. Your rights
Customers can export or delete their data at any time. People who have messaged a business that uses CZoneConnect should first contact that business, which controls their data. They may also contact us and we will pass the request to the business or act on it where we are allowed to. See our Data Deletion page.

9. Where data is stored
Data is stored with our hosting provider in USA. Where data moves between countries, we use providers that protect it to a standard consistent with UAE data protection law.

10. Children
CZoneConnect is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to Customers.
